英國留學(xué)簽證政策更新一般都會事先有風(fēng)聲先放出來，而且在過渡期會有些特殊的政策支持。這次，出其不意的放大招了，細(xì)節(jié)如下：

UKVI此次為什么會如此操作呢？美嘉高老師認(rèn)為：到達(dá)英國7天內(nèi)去警察局注冊是天經(jīng)地義的事情，是規(guī)定。如果不這樣，是犯規(guī)，所以沒必要告知。高老師在十幾年前剛?cè)胄械臅r候就被前輩（也就是目前公司的總裁）告知：一定要叮囑學(xué)生7天內(nèi)去警察局。所以，十幾年來，我們在給學(xué)生的行前手冊、pre-departure培訓(xùn)中、學(xué)生入境后，都反復(fù)強(qiáng)調(diào)去警察局注冊的事情。甚至學(xué)生從A宿舍搬家到B宿舍，按照規(guī)定都需要去警察局去做變更的。由此可見警察局注冊的重要性。

下面，英國留學(xué)導(dǎo)師以文字標(biāo)注的形式解讀下警察局注冊對簽證的影響。

UK visas and registering with the police 

You may need to register with the police if you come to the UK for longer than 6 months, extend your current leave or switch to a different visa.

You’ll be told if you need to register with the police on one of the following documents:

·your entry visa vignette (sticker in your passport), if you’re travelling to the UK

·the Home Office letter that approved your application for leave

Who needs to register with the police

You may be told to register with the police if all the following apply:

you’re 16 or older （年滿16周歲及以上）

·your visa or immigration application is for longer than 6 months （所持簽證或申請簽證長度超過6個月）

·your visa or immigration application is not exempt from the police registration requirement （非免除警察局注冊之列的簽證申請）

·you’ve been told to register on your entry visa vignette or Home Office letter that approved your application for leave

（簽證頁明確要求去警察局注冊，例如："Police Registration within 7 days of arrival” OR "Register at once with the police"）

·you’re from one of the countries in the following list（來著以下）

You must register with the police if you’re from:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, North Korea, Oman, Palestine, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Yemen.

You don’t need to register if you have dual nationality with one of these countries and a country that’s not on the list.

You may also need to register if:

·you’re stateless

·you hold a non-national travel document

Exemptions（誰不需要去警察局注冊）

You don’t need to register with the police if you have permission to live permanently in the UK, or are a family member of an EEA citizen. 已被允許永居英國，或是歐洲經(jīng)濟(jì)區(qū)公民的家屬。

You’re also exempt if you’re visiting the UK on a temporary visa: 

持有短期英國留學(xué)簽證的如下人員

·as a seasonal agricultural worker （季節(jié)性農(nóng)民工）

·as a private servant in a diplomatic household （外交官私人仆役）

·as a minister of religion, a missionary or a member of a religious order (宗教成員、牧師、傳教士)

·because you’re the partner (spouse, fiancé(e), civil or unmarried partner) of a person settled in the UK (英國定居者的配偶、未婚妻/夫、非婚配偶)

·as a person with access rights to a child resident in the UK （有權(quán)探訪定居在英國的孩子的人）

·as the parent of a child at school （child簽證持有者的父母）

·after you’ve been given asylum （得到英國政府庇護(hù)的人）

How to register（如何注冊）

You must register within 7 days of arriving in the UK or, if your leave has been extended, within 7 days of getting your biometric residence permit.

If you don’t register:

·any future immigration applications will consider that you didn’t register

·your current leave can be shortened

If you’re in London（如果你在倫敦）

You must register at the Overseas Visitors Records Office if you live in an area of London covered by the Metropolitan Police.

Registering with the police costs ?34. You can pay at the police station.

Documents you must provide（材料清單）

You’ll need to take:

·2 recent passport size colour photographs （2張近期護(hù)照大小照片，其實就是2寸的，當(dāng)時辦理簽證用的那種就妥妥的）

·your passport with your entry visa vignette （貼有簽證頁的護(hù)照）

·your BRP, if you have one（BRP卡，如果已經(jīng)取卡）

·the Home Office letter that approved your application for leave（Home Office允許你在英國逗留的letter）

You may need to provide additional documents depending on your status and the police force you’re registering with. You may also have to fill in an application form before you register. Contact the police to find out.

·your full name

·your gender

·your marital status

·your date and country of birth

·your nationality

·your address in the UK

·the address of the last place you lived outside the UK

·the date and place you arrived in the UK, and how

·your passport details

·what you can and can’t do with your visa, including how long you can stay

·if you’re a student or working

Change of circumstances

If you registered with the police you must tell them if any of the information you’ve given them changes. C
