如圖所示，在天氣寒冷的時(shí)候，應(yīng)該選擇角度比較高屋頂以吸收更多的陽(yáng)光來(lái)增加室內(nèi)溫度。與此同時(shí)，在房間的內(nèi)層安置保溫材料，用來(lái)存貯收集來(lái)的熱量。并且要在房屋的外側(cè)安裝insulation，來(lái)減少熱量的散失。這樣就可以盡可能高的室內(nèi)溫度。

而在天氣比較熱的時(shí)候，白天和夜間的處理方式有所不同。屋頂應(yīng)該采用反射性比較強(qiáng)的材料來(lái)避免吸收更多的熱量同時(shí)屋檐需要延長(zhǎng)一部分，獲取跟多的陰影部分以確保室內(nèi)溫度降低。外層保溫材料仍然需要安裝，減少冷空氣的流失。在白天注意關(guān)閉好窗戶(hù)并將其遮蓋起來(lái)，避免更多的陽(yáng)光進(jìn)入室內(nèi)。這樣就可以盡大的可能避免熱量進(jìn)入并且保存冷空氣在室內(nèi)。而到了晚上只需要將窗戶(hù)打開(kāi)，讓室內(nèi)空氣移出并且容室外的冷空氣流入房間，降低室內(nèi)溫度。
