美國商學(xué)院是很多同學(xué)的夢想，但是美國商學(xué)院的錄取條件是非?？量痰?，美國商科研究生申請也不是一件輕而易舉的事情，所以大多數(shù)同學(xué)都在努力提高GPA,不斷刷新G/T成績，四處尋找可提高自身背景的實習(xí)及科研資源，以為這樣就萬無一失了。然而對商科申請同樣很重要的先修課，卻沒有得到同樣的重視。所謂先修課prerequisite courses，就是指學(xué)生本科教育期間基本上要修過與申請項目相關(guān)的一些課程。

很多商科項目的官網(wǎng)上明確要求申請者有一定的相關(guān)背景并在開始申請前修完一定的先修課程。例如比較熱門的金融，金融工程，會計，以及統(tǒng)計項目會要求申請者必須在本科階段修過一定的相關(guān)課程，就經(jīng)濟項目，也會要求申請者有一定的專業(yè)背景，比如 紐約大學(xué)的經(jīng)濟項目除了要求申請者修過微積分，線性代數(shù)等數(shù)學(xué)課程 ，還要求申請者有中級微觀經(jīng)濟學(xué)和中級宏觀觀經(jīng)濟學(xué)的背景。

不要以為學(xué)校對這些先修課的要求只是說說而已，像密歇根安娜堡大學(xué)的會計項目 ，你很可能會因為沒有完成學(xué)校要求的先修課而無法提交網(wǎng)申。又比如說 克拉克大學(xué)的金融項目如果未完成學(xué)校要求的先修課 ，即便能滿足學(xué)校的各項申請要求，再完成先修課之前也只能拿到一個conditional offer。

下面我們看一下幾個熱門院校和熱門專業(yè)，大學(xué)官網(wǎng)對先修課的要求。

金融方向：

哥倫比亞大學(xué)商學(xué)院的Master of Science in Financial Economic金融經(jīng)濟學(xué)碩士

Prerequisite Courses

Prior to commencing the program, all admitted students would be required to complete the following courses at an advanced undergraduate level:

To apply, applicants must demonstrate how they meet, or plan to meet, pre-enrollment course requirements. 南加大的商務(wù)分析專業(yè)，對先修課要求的不多，但是對統(tǒng)計學(xué)課程是有要求的，必須至少完成一門統(tǒng)計學(xué)課程All applicants must also have completed at least one statistics course at the undergraduate level or above, with no exceptions.

We do not have any required pre-enrollment courses, however, we strongly encourage applicants to complete a statistics course before applying.

We find students who have taken at least one statistics course at the college level are most successful in the program.

看到這么多的先修課，大家可能會感到壓力山大，不過只要早早的規(guī)劃，完成這些先修課并不是什么難事。首先要到自己的dream school官網(wǎng)上確定一下學(xué)校確切的先修課要求，然后了解自己本科專業(yè)課程設(shè)置，看是否能滿足自己欲申請項目的要求，如不能滿足，可選修自己本校其他院系設(shè)置的相關(guān)課程。如果條件允許的話，也可申請美國的summer school，美國大學(xué)summer school既能幫助你提升學(xué)術(shù)背景，滿足研究生申請先修課要求，又能拿到國外名校的教授推薦信，提高錄取成功率。
